Particularly good central location near to other entertainments, the main attractions and shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Had lunch/dinner at Restaurant la Couronne, which I found not too far away from the hotel. The room was decent size here with a balcony, laminated floors and bath.

We were offered a tiny room on the 6th floor, very shabby, when we asked to change the staff were extremely helpfull and moved us immediately to a better room.Nearby underground carpark is a plus as is the balcony and view over the Siene & proximity to old Rouen. In all good value for the money
The hotel really needs a refurb and update, some rooms are better than others.

Excellent in many respects! Very good location about 10 minutes to the cathedral. Good sized room and we had a balcony overlooking the river. By far the best of 3 hotels we have stayed at in Rouen and will certainly stay there again. Excellent value for money.
Parking is good value (9 euros) but it's down the first road to the left as you look at the hotel - not immediately obvious!

A nice friendly run hotel, and staff who spoke English. A Lift to all floors. At breakfast you could eat in or out they do not mind. The river Seine across the road from our front facing room with balcony was interesting to watch the river traffic. Large double glazed windows kept out the traffic noice which did not increase in volume until around 09.30am when they all start work. Excellent wide spaced car park under the hotel was extra but well worth it. To the rear of the hotel with about a two hundred metre walk and we were in the restaurant, and pavement cafe area. Turn right from there and its all shopping. At the end this street the Notra Damm cathedral in its magnificent splendour. The hotel could not have been better placed for its price. We had previously booked just one night as we were passing through but chose to stay an additional night. Overall an enjoyable two night stay for us at this hotel with free wifi.

Everything in the hotel appeared clean and well maintained. -- The staff were helpful and civil. -- The bed was comfortable. -- breakfast was above average for the price. -- Although the lift was very small, it was quiet and efficient. -- We didn't use our car at all during the four day stay. The parking was difficult to find on our arrival but it was secure and accessible directly from the hotel basement so we had no worries and could nip back and forth when we had to. -- The shower room was good apart from a minor intermittent problem with the cistern running constantly after flushing. -- The tv had one channel (cnn) in English. -- The general location suited us. Everything we wanted to see and do was within easy walking distance.
Noise and poor ventilation were the two biggest problems. From the front of the hotel, there is a pavement then ten lanes of traffic before a railway line, a broad walkway and finally the river. There were two sets of double glazed sliding doors between our room and the balcony. When closed, these made all the difference. However, the doors are the only means of ventilation. There is no air conditioning and the tiny room quickly became like an oven. We always had to choose between excessive heat and excessive noise. -- Our balcony had a very slight slope forwards and down which (on the 5th floor) I found disconcerting. To be fare, the gradient didn't trouble my partner at all. -- The room was the smallest double room I have ever occupied in a European hotel and there was hardly any place to put anything. -- There was no safe. -- There are no tea making facilities in the room and it is impossible to get a cup of anything when returning to the hotel at night. -- On checking out I was given a bill which was more than I had been quoted by Booked.net but this was quickly sorted out. -- Bearing in mind price and location I would probably go back but would ask for a room at the rear in the hope it would be cooler and quieter ... but who knows?
